Job Description

  1. Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and manage the inventory levels of spare parts to ensure adequate stock is maintained to
    meet customer demand.
  • Conduct regular audits of spare parts inventory and assist in the identification of slow-moving or
    obsolete parts.
  • Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory costs.
  1. Order Processing:
  • Process orders for spare parts from retail customers, service departments, and dealerships ensuring
    accurate and timely fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with warehouses and logistics for the timely delivery of spare parts and resolve any
    shipment issues.
  1. Supplier Relations:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the availability and
    quality of spare parts.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve the best possible
    procurement outcomes.
  1. Sales and Customer Support:
  • Provide technical and product information to customers, including service departments and
    dealerships, regarding spare parts specifications and compatibility.
  • Assist in handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns related to spare parts in a timely and
    professional manner.
  1. Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and demands for spare parts in the automobile industry.
  • Analyze sales data and develop forecasts to inform purchasing and stocking decisions.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales, and orders using automated systems and other
    tools.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory metrics, and supplier performance for
    management review.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Train and support other team members in best practices and updated information regarding spare
    parts and inventory management processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new spare parts technologies, and evolving customer needs.
