Job Description

  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols for the fabrication of automotive components.
  • Perform inspections and tests on fabricated parts to verify compliance with specifications and
    engineering drawings.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for improvement in fabrication processes to enhance product quality and reduce
    defects.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize fabrication procedures and implement best practices.
  1. Standards Compliance:
  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes and outputs comply with industry standards, regulatory
    requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Stay current with changes in quality standards and technologies applicable to the automotive
    industry.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and
    improvement methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the quality team.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze quality data, such as defect rates and inspection results, to identify trends and areas for
    corrective action.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports documenting quality performance metrics, inspection findings, and
    corrective actions taken.
  1. Issue Resolution:
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, collaborating with engineering and production teams
    to implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis for defects and non-conformities to prevent recurrence.
  1. Supplier Quality Management:
  • Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure that their fabrication processes meet company quality
    standards.
  • Work with suppliers to address quality concerns and improve their processes.
  1. Documentation and Standards Development:
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection procedures, quality manuals, and
    work instructions.
  • Participate in the development and revision of engineering specifications, standards, and policies
    related to fabrication quality.
