Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Maintenance:
  • Maintain and manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate recording of all financial
    data in Tally Prime.
  • Prepare and update financial statements, ledgers, and journals in compliance with accounting
    standards.
  • GST Compliance:
  • Calculate and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and within deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including input tax credit reconciliation and maintaining
    proper documentation.
  • TDS Management:
  • Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable rates, ensuring timely deposits to the government.
  • Prepare and file TDS returns (Form 26Q, Form 27Q, etc.) and ensure correctness of data.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.
  • Generate GST and TDS-related reports from Tally to assist in management decision-making.
  • Reconciliation:
  • Perform reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliation, vendor, and customer accounts.
  • Reconcile GST and TDS liabilities with the corresponding returns and ensure that any discrepancies
    are addressed promptly.
  • Audit Support:
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related
    to GST and TDS.
  • Prepare audit schedules and support documentation as required.
