“The ways of nature are unpredictable. It might seem calm, angry, or sometimes arrogant. It is our duty as humans not to provoke it yet find ways to be one the same team while building your business empire”:- Yatin Gupte, CEO Ward Wizard Innovation & Mobility Limited
Driven by 4Es, Environment Care, Electric Mobility, Economic Growth and Empowering stakeholders, Ward Wizard is propelled by its commitment to fulfill national vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat and harnessing alternative energy resources.
While the world is still under the grim clutches of the recent pandemic Covid-19, another thing that haunts the officials is India’s slowest economic growth which will be from 1.5 percent to 2.8 percent. These figures might even go down considering the fact India is planning to extend her nation-wide lockdown to fight the virus. Since March 25th, when our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a complete lockdown almost 70 percent of the economic activity came to standstill. Centrum Institutional Research says the Nationwide complete lockdown is likely to shave off at least Rs 7-8 trillion or even more.
We at Ward Wizard Innovation & Mobility Limited thinks the revival of the economy back to its previous state will be a difficult hurdle to pass, but it is not impossible. Finding ways to adapt to the ever-changing scenarios is what makes a good business. This was always one of the best traits of our organization too. We adapted to the situations very quickly even as the company was officially shut from 25th. There was panic spreading in the air at a very alarming rate. We made sure to support our employees in whatever way possible. That tiny gesture made sure to bring out the best in every employee and mould themselves to prepare against a new phase the company has to go through. We think that the lockdown due to Covid-19 made each one of us look into ourselves both as an employee and an individual and forced us to do more and think more creatively.
The hurdle in the path was to understand the present scenarios and what needs to be done to make sure of the company’s survival. “We started thinking of ways to roll our products in the market on a very safe scale to ensure the steady income flow”: says, Yatin Gupte. It is about time we humans take responsibility for what we’ve done to the Earth and her ecosystem. Consider this as a revolt from her side. To the people who are still accusing other nations and their govt for the outbreak, open your eyes. Have you been noticing the extraordinary changes that have been happening around the world?
Since we completely ignored the place where we are inhabitants and continued exploiting it, consider this as Earth’s way of telling us “enough.” If we are hoping for a revival of the economy its now time to start putting the environment first. Since our inception in 2016, we were keen on exploring how you can run a business successfully by making sure you are not hampering the environment. As they say, when like brains come together, any idea can be a multi-million-dollar idea. Since then we’ve been researching how to run something by keeping priority to the environment.
This business model has led us to be in the process of being listed in BSE as India’s first company in the Electric Automobile sector. Joy e-bike, one of Ward Wizard Innovations & Mobility’s solution to pollution has made ripples in the Indian market by providing efficient and economical electric bikes. A thought where what we as humans can do to help nature without hampering our daily essential transportation.
Here at Wardwizard, we already have a manufacture and assembly line at Vadodara, Gujarat. As part of our growth and expansion we are exploring more such OEM facilities for the upcoming electric 2 wheeler brands in India. To achieve its vision of inclusive growth and create brand value chain synergies, we have started empowering entrepreneurs and aims to empower 55000 enterprises in near future. Nationally we have our network of 1500 dealers spread across PAN India. As per our activities overseas, we have setup our assemble line in Uganda for catering East African region and more are on the way. We are aiming to cover the entire African Continent by the next financial year.
What we must be prepared is for a similar situation in the coming future or prepare ourselves to be more cautious about the environment as not to face something like this anymore. So once the lockdown is lifted and the world economy starts to hit the hockey stick charts again, let us all emerge together to put the environment in the priority list. Understand that we are not the resistance, we are the survivors.
